Storm Team4 has the weather forecast.

4 things to know about the weather:

  1. Another very warm day.
  2. Afternoon showers and storms Monday, impacting peak bloom.
  3. The smell of smoke from wildfires in the Carolinas will be around at times Sunday.
  4. Much cooler Tuesday and Wednesday.

This weekend is just a great preview to what summer will feel like soon.

Sunday will be another warm day in the low 80s. The morning will start in the 60s before rapidly increasing to the 70s and eventually the 80s by the afternoon.

While it might be warm outside, expect the D.C. area to be cloudy and we might get a few scattered showers in the evening across our western suburbs of D.C.

If you haven't seen the cherry blossoms yet, Sunday is another great day to do it! Just be mindful of driving down in the District and if you can, take the Metro instead.

Monday will be another warm day with highs in the 70s. Most of the day will be dry until afternoon and evening chances of rain.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be much cooler than this weekend with highs in the low 60s. Temperatures will pick back up on Thursday and Friday.
