Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk for Severe Weather Across the entire region.
Sunday will bring a line of strong storms late in the afternoon and evening that could be strong to severe. The D.C. area is expected to get up to an inch of rain. Before the storms start, make sure to get any last-minute weekend errands done.

The chance for strong winds, heavy rain and thunderstorms from late day until later in the evening.
Throughout the day, expect temperatures to be warm and humid. The morning will start out in the 60s and then climb up to the 70s with winds going up to 30 mph.
Multiple lines of potent thunderstorms will move from southwest to northeast – reaching the Blue Ridge by early afternoon, and the National Capitol Region (NCR) after 4 p.m. moving east of the region around 10 p.m.
Cooler and warmer temps ahead after Sunday's storm
After Sunday's humidity, Monday will turn blustery and chilly with highs only reaching the mid-50s. Tuesday will be our next sunny day with highs near 65°.
Wednesday looks nice and mild with highs around 70°. Thursday will also reach the 70s but with rain chances arriving for the afternoon and evening hours.
