4 things to know about the weather
- Saturday is day 31 without measurable rainfall at DCA. The record is 34 days
- Cooler temperatures for Saturday and Sunday
- Clocks fall BACK one hour overnight, returning to Eastern Standard Time early Sunday morning
- Record-breaking heat is possible next week
After unseasonably warm temperatures on Halloween and Friday, a cold front turned the southwest wind back around to the northeast. And with no real rain as that front passed, the all-time record run of 34 dry days in a row looks to continue into next week.
The good news for fall weather is that clearing skies, plus cooler, drier air, will return temperatures to average for the weekend.
