Tuesday marks 17 years since a gunman killed 32 people and injured 17 others at Virginia Tech. Gov. Glenn Youngkin ordered flags across the state to fly at half-staff in memory of the victims. 

Johnny Roop, 20, was last seen Friday at his apartment complex in Montgomery County. He was heading to his parent’s home in Abingdon but never showed up.
