Vehicles Burn at Annapolis Car Dealership

Multiple vehicles were on fire at a car dealership in Annapolis, Maryland on February 3, 2020. No injuries were reported.

Multiple vehicles caught fire Monday morning at a car dealership in Annapolis, Maryland.

Firefighters were battling the blaze in the 200 block of West Street as of about 7:30 a.m.

Live wires were down on the cars, and firefighters had to back off until the power could be turned off.

Firefighters also had to contain leaking gasoline and oil.

A utility pole also caught fire, leading to multiple explosions from the pole.

The fire was out by 8 a.m., but power crews stayed at the scene into the afternoon to fix the downed wires.

No injuries have been reported.
