The Washington Football Team rebrand is one of the biggest stories in the nation, not just sports. And with so many name proposals circulating through social media, Washington has chosen to put a cool spin upon how they decide what name to move forward with.
Considering fan submissions.
Recently, the team has opened up its inbox via Washingtonjourney.com for fans to propose what they believe the next name should be, and fans are taking advantage of it.
A lot of fans are, according to the team's VP of digital marketing, Marcus Stephenson.
"Tens-of-thousands," submissions have been received in the past week Marcus Stephenson said.
"We believe when we open up that process and make it a two-way conversation back-and-forth, our fans can provide input and also provide their opinion and point of view."

Here are a few submissions the team account has publicized -- the comments sections for these are the best.
"We can't guarantee we're going to actually pick one of those submissions," Stephenson said. "We'll put the suggestions out there which calls for more transparency for everybody."
