Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has taken advantage of the NCAA’s new Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) rules by partnering with nine college athletes from across the country to promote his apparel brand “BRADY,” which launches in January 2022.

Among the athletes partnering with Brady is Maryland forward Julian Reese. The Baltimore native has appeared in 10 games for the Terrapins as a freshman, averaging 7.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Reese was a top-100 recruit coming out of high school and he figures to be a big part of Maryland’s core moving forward.

In addition to Reese, eight other NCAA athletes signed with BRADY:

  • Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara
  • Georgia wide receiver George Pickens
  • Jackson State quarterback Shedeur Sanders
  • Coastal Carolina quarterback Grayson McCall
  • Villanova basketball’s Jermaine Samuels Jr.
  • Michigan tennis’ Andrew Fenty
  • UCLA tennis’ Patrick Zahraj
  • Boston College hockey’s Jack St. Ivany

Pittsburgh Pirates catching prospect Henry Davis, drafted No. 1 overall out of Louisville this summer, joined the brand as well.

The NIL changes put into place this year allowed college athletes to sign endorsement deals with the permission of the NCAA for the first time. Though the details of the BRADY agreements haven’t been made public, this is the Buccaneers quarterback’s first foray into the NIL space and these athletes will likely be featured prominently in promotions after the brand’s launch.
