When Washington's NFL club announced its temporary rebrand as the 'Washington Football Club' this past Thursday, the team also unveiled slightly altered uniforms that they will sport in 2020.
On Tuesday, Washington safety Landon Collins posted an Instagram picture of himself photoshopped in the team's new gear, and it looked sweeeeeeeeeet.
In the caption, Collins said the new uniform is "crazy" to get used to, but also called the design "very fitting."
The uniforms Washington will wear this upcoming season are similar to the previous ones, just with a few slight alterations.
The most noticeable difference is the helmet, which now has each players' number on the side, rather than the team's logo. Washington retired its old moniker and logo on July 13.
However, wearing a uniform with numbers on the side of the helmet is something Collins is familiar with. The safety played his college ball at the University of Alabama, and the Crimson Tide uniforms also have player's numbers on the helmet rather than a team logo.
Additionally, the lettering on the front of the jersey will now read 'Washington,' rather than the club's former nickname. Washington has already said its keeping the tradition of the burgundy and gold colors.
While this may only be a temporary look, Collins already looks natural in his new digs.
