Kyle Kuzma, LeBron James Take Over NBA Twitter During First Round of Playoffs

Just because your team didn't make the playoffs, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy a wild first weekend of postseason hoops.

Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma and his former Lakers teammate LeBron James, were prime examples of this, and they ended up taking over NBA Twitter as first-round games went down throughout Easter weekend.

Whether it was Miami's Game 1 blowout of the Hawks, Jordan Poole dropping 30 points in his first playoff game or the epic clash between the Celtics and Nets on Sunday, Kuzma and James were locked in to the action the whole time.

Of course, both of these players' commentary was only available because of their absence from the playoffs. Kuzma's Wizards finished the regular season 12th in the Eastern Conference after injuries and inconsistent play spoiled an impressive start to the regular season.

In James' case, the Lakers had title aspirations at the beginning of the season after trading for Russell Westbrook over the summer and getting Anthony Davis back from a groin injury that ended his 2020-21 campaign. Neither the Wizards nor Lakers made it to the play-in tournament this season.

For now, Kuzma and James can only prepare for next season while giving NBA fans the commentary they deserve during postseason play. It's not often you find James sitting at home in April.
