How to watch Capitals vs. Blackhawks originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
The Capitals return to the nation's capital to take on Chicago on Thursday night on the backs of a letdown 5-4 loss in Florida against the Panthers.
Washington led 4-1 in the third period, but rapid-fire scoring from the league's most explosive offense flipped the game on its head before a score in the final minute wiped the Caps chances at getting a point away.
Now the rebuilding Blackhawks come to town hungry and looking to make a statement. Here's how to watch.

CAPITALS VS. BLACKHAWKS WHAT TO WATCH
From NBC Sports Washington's Tyler Byrum:
"At 36 years of age, Alex Ovechkin is on pace to put together the best overall offensive season of his career. Let that sink in again. In his 17th season in the NHL, Ovechkin is playing better on the offensive end than he ever has." Read more.
From NBC Sports Washington's Matt Weyrich:

CAPITALS VS. BLACKHAWKS PLAYERS TO WATCH
Capitals: Alex Ovechkin, LW (23 games, 19 goals, 18 assists): Ovechkin is coming off a week in which he recorded a three-assist game, a hat trick and then scored another goal on Sunday to cap it off. Frustrated and kept off the score sheet in Florida, expect another vintage Ovi game against the visiting Blackhawks.
Blackhawks: Patrick Kane, RW (17 games, 6 goals, 12 assists): Kane has been the staple of the Blackhawks franchise since their three Stanley Cup titles from 2010-2015. Now as a patient leader of a younger roster, Kane is still as dangerous as ever for the Caps back line to keep track of.
