Chase Young is gifting one military veteran the trip of a lifetime.

The Washington Commanders pass rusher teamed up with USAA and the National Guard Association to give away a pair of tickets to Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles. The military veteran receiving the tickets is Captain Darryl Griffing, who spent 27 years in the military, including 14 on active duty.

“My grandfather served in our military, and he taught me about the service and sacrifice made by our military members and their families,” Young said in a statement courtesy of 160 over 90.

“With those learnings as my inspiration, I am honored to team up with USAA and the National Guard Association of the United States to provide a trip to the Super Bowl to recognize Captain Darryl Griffing’s honorable military service and am looking forward to meeting him in Los Angeles," Young continued.

Young will meet Captain Griffing and his wife, Niki, during Super Bowl weekend in Los Angeles at the USAA Salute to Service Lounge at the NFL's Fan Experience.
