Capitals' T.J. Oshie, Bruins' David Pastrnak Star in New Dunkin' Donuts Ad

See it: Oshie, Pastrnak star in hilarious new Dunkin' Donuts ad originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

We're used to seeing T.J. Oshie and David Pastrnak battle it out on the wing in one of the most storied rivalries in hockey. But we've never seen them quite like this before.

In the latest Dunkin' Donuts commercial, the age-old rivalry between the Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins gets a nostalgic makeover, moving from the ice to the pinnacle of competition for a generation of young hockey fans – where respect was won and lost, where friendships were put to the test: the bubble hockey table.

But anyone who's played before knows that the game has one pesky flaw, and the ad plays on it perfectly. Check it out:

The two animated All-Stars face off in their respective jerseys. But unfortunately for mini-Pasta, the puck makes its way to the game's notorious dead zone, where no one can ever get it. At that point, Oshie sees his goalie has abandoned the net, taking full advantage of the dead play with a Dunkin' iced coffee break.

We've seen Pastrnak featured in Dunkin' commercials before, but this is hopefully the first of many cameos for mini-Oshie.
