Ovi Jr. is a legend already and he just turned two.
With his dad gearing up to pull off what could be one of the greatest NHL playoff comebacks of all time in the NHL bubble, Sergei Ovechkin is living his best life with the best 2nd birthday party a kid could hope for.
Alex Ovechkin's wife, Nastya, documented the day on her Instagram stories that started with an up-close look at Sergei's birthday fit, a white button, matching kicks, a show-stopping belt and of course no outfit is complete in this family without a hockey stick as your accessory.
Highlights of the big day showcased an inflatable ball pit with a slide, entertainers, basketball shooting games, and a hockey net so Sergei could rip backhanded shots to impress all his relatives that flew in from Russia.
Now although Ovi couldn't be there, he still managed to Facetime in from Toronto on a big screen to sing ‘Happy Birthday' to his little one. The party ended with a three-tier Ovechkin cake complete with a Sergei topper, sparklers and lots of dancing. Birthday No. 3 will have a tough time topping No. 2.
