NHL releases Caps-Bruins playoff series schedule originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
Mark your calendars, we've got playoff hockey to watch. The Capitals and Boston Bruins will meet in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and now we know when as the NHL released the full playoff schedule on Thursday.
Game 1 was previously announced as being on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. after the Preakness. Here is the remaining schedule. All times are Eastern.

Capitals vs. Bruins Stanley Cup Playoffs Schedule
- Game 1: Saturday, May 15 at 7:15 p.m. in Washington (NBC)
- Game 2: Monday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Washington (NBC Sports Washington/ NBCSN)
- Game 3: Wednesday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. in Boston (NBC Sports Washington/ NBCSN)
- Game 4: Friday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. in Boston on (NBC Sports Washington/ NBCSN)
- Game 5 (if necessary): Sunday, May 23, time TBD in Washington
- Game 6 (if necessary): Tuesday, May 25, time TBD in Boston (NBC Sports Washington)
- Game 7 (if necessary): Thursday, May 27, time TBD in Washington (NBC Sports Washington)
Game 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 will all be broadcast on NBC Sports Washington.

Caps-Bruins is the only series starting on Saturday meaning the spotlight of the sport will be squarely on Washington for the league's playoff opener.
The winner of the series will play the winner of the Pittsburgh Penguins-New York Islanders first round series.
