In Virginia , Many Asian-Americans Becoming Politically Active

In Virginia, many Asian Americans are becoming politically active for the first time. Asians are often seen as passive participants in politics. But according to Fairfax information technology consultant Hung Nguyen, that's in the past. Nguyen came to the United States from Vietnam when he was four. He has been canvassing for Democrat Barack Obama across the state. Kishan Putta, a second generation immigrant, founded "Indians for McCain." He says John McCain's free trade policy is winning over Indian Americans.
