Former D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty and his wife, Michelle, are separating, City Paper is reporting.
City Paper cites "people familiar with the situation (including one source close to the former mayor)" as the sources for the news. Fenty did not immediately respond to City Paper's requests for comment.
Michelle Fenty has been working in Trinidad and Tobago since last year, when she took a job with with the Inter-American Development Bank,
Adrian Fenty served as mayor of the District from 2007 to 2011. He lost the 2010 Democratic primary to Vincent Gray. The couple has three children.
