Film audiences were terrified with Shelley Duvall in 1980 horror classic "The Shining," and fell in love with her live screen portrayal of Olive Oyl in "Popeye" playing opposite Robin Williams that same year.
But the actress faded from view in the past decade, before resurfacing on Dr. Phil to detail her ongoing battle with mental illness.
In a teaser trailer from the upcoming episode, Duvall tells Dr. Phil she doesn't believe Williams is dead and that she continues to see him.
Williams committed suicide in 2014.
Duvall also believes her life is in danger and that the man who threatens her is the Sheriff of Nottingham, the fictional character from "Robin Hood."
The 67-year-old actress, who's last film was 2002's "Manna from Heaven," does tell Dr. Phil she realizes that she's sick and "needs help."
