Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner will soon be able to breathe easier.
The accused stalker who allegedly followed the A-list celebrity couple and their children was sent to a state mental hospital Tuesday by a Los Angeles judge who ruled the man insane.
Steven Burky pleaded no contest to two counts of stalking before he was sent to a California state mental hospital, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's spokeswoman Jane Robison.
Burky, 37, was found not guilty by reason of insanity by the judge, who ordered Burky to stay away from Affleck, Garner and the rest of their family for 10 years if released from the hospital.
Burky was arrested in December after violating a 2008 restraining order by showing up at the school attended by the couple's daughter. Affleck and Garner have two daughters, Violet and Seraphina.
Burky has allegedly been harassing the couple for years.
