Bottom line: Justin Bieber prefers to keep his love life private.
The 16-year-old singing sensation kept mum during his recent Today show appearance (see video below) when anchor Amy Robach read a fan mail question asking if Bieber had a girlfriend.
“Um…I pass,” he simply said. And that was that.
Bieber was in New York City yesterday to promote his new book “First Step 2 Forever: My Story." He also just put out a new CD, "My Worlds Acoustic," which is only available through Walmart. “I wanted a little something for my fans for the holiday season,” he explained about the album.
In the interview, he spoke about his big wins at the recent American Music Awards. "I had a lot of things going through my head. It was pretty amazing just what I had accomplished this. I’ve just been very blessed.”
The star also spoke about his mentor, R&B singer Usher, and what advice he imparted on him. "Basically just to stay humble, stay grounded, remember where you come from, and family is very important—don’t forget that.”
As for what Bieber plans to do over the holidays, he said he planned to spend time with his family. "We have this game we play—basically you roll a dice. Everyone brings a gift and you pick a random gift."
