JPMorgan to Pay $920 Million for Trading Losses

The Federal Reserve said on Thursday that JPMorgan Chase will pay regulators $920 million in fines over trading losses including its so-called London Whale trading fiasco, NBC News reported. The Fed handed the bank, the largest in the U.S., with a $200 million fine for "deficiencies in risk management." The penalties levied against JPMorgan were executed with other agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission and U.K. financial authorities. The penalties include $300 million to the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, $200 million to Federal Reserve, $200 million to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and $219.74 million to the United Kingdom's Financial Conduct Authority.
