Jennifer Aniston paid tribute to the original funny girl Barbra Streisand by mimicking the superstar's signature for a recent photo shoot.
Sporting Babs' heavy eye makeup, a wig and manicured nails, Aniston posed as the woman she said she has idolized since childhood for the September issue of Harper's Bazaar.
"Someone said to me, 'If I had Barbra's voice for just one day,' and I said, 'Nah, I don't want to be greedy. If I had her voice for just one shower -- just a shower's worth -- I would be happy,'" the 41-year-old actress told Harper's.
Aniston, who stars in the film "The Switch" out Aug. 20, said she met Streisand, 68, at a Hollywood New Year's Eve party a few years ago and called it a wonderful experience.
"I've loved her since I was a kid, and all of a sudden there she is, and she's just like someone you've always known," the actress recalled. "She was wonderful, and you could talk to her about anything. I happened to be talking to her and Jim [Streisand's husband, James Brolin] when it struck midnight. They said, 'Excuse us,' kissed each other, and then, very politely, kissed me."
Aniston said she listened to her idol's 1964 hit "People" and wore outfits inspired by the films "Funny Girl" and "What's Up Doc" during the Los Angeles shoot.
