At least two people were killed and another 19 more injured after an overpass collapsed in the Brazilian World Cup host city of Belo Horizonte on Thursday, an emergency official said. A crushed bus and and two smashed trucks could be seen under the fallen overpass, which is near the Mineirao stadium, where five soccer matches have already been played. The overpass was one of the many infrastructure projects aimed at improving the city's ailing public transit system. The cause of the collapse was unclear.
