A woman died Tuesday after she fell three stories from a balcony in Northwest D.C.
Firefighters were called to an apartment building on the 1400 block of Fairmont Street NW, in the Columbia Heights neighborhood, about 8:20 a.m.
When they arrived, the woman was unconscious but breathing.
She was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
Police did not release information on her name or age.
