A bystander was shot and injured after an altercation at a McDonald's restaurant in College Park early Sunday morning.
It happened shortly before 2:50 a.m. Sunday in the 8300 block of Baltimore Avenue.
Prince George's County Police said a security guard working at the restaurant asked three men and a woman to leave after they became disruptive. The group refused, and one of the men began to fight the guard.
During the struggle, the security officer fired his gun, striking a woman, police said.
The victim was shot in the wrist and was taken to the hospital, where she was treated and released.
Clarence Kirksey-Walcott, 22, has been charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Thair Walker, 21, and Dion Conley, 22, have also been charged with disorderly conduct.
Additional charges may be filed, police say.
