Video: Virginia Student Faces Felony Charges After Brawl With School Officer

Video News4 obtained of the fight shows a Dominion High School student and a school resource officer punching and hitting each other.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said the incident happened about 1 p.m. when an administrator at the school told the student to go to the office from the cafeteria.

Authorities say the student refused multiple times and assaulted the staff member.

The officer "defended himself while taking the student into custody," according to the sheriff's office.

Medics took the deputy to a hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
