Some lanes were blocked Friday afternoon on northbound Interstate 270 due to a vehicle fire, officials say.
The fire was near Rockledge Drive, between the I-270 Spur and Old Georgetown Road, Montgomery County Fire and EMS spokesperson Pete Piringer said.
WTOP reported a single left lane was getting by on northbound I-270.
About 4:50 p.m., WTOP said fire department activity had been cleared and all lanes were open.
