Thursday proved to be a violent day for D.C. - four shootings were reported in northwest Washington within 24 hours.
Crews first responded to the 1800 block of 14th Street NW just before 9 p.m. for a shooting. Onlookers reported the shooting occurred just outside a busy strip of restaurants and bars. One gunshot victim was transported with a gunshot wound to his waist; his condition is unknown, although officials say it does not appear to be life-threatening. Police are on the lookout for two men who fled the shooting on foot.
About an hour later, police responded to the 1400 block of Jonquil Street NW. One man was transported with gunshot wounds to a local hospital and his condition is also unknown.
Officers responded to the scene of yet another shooting at 11:25 p.m. Police say a unit patrolling the 1200 block of Rock Creek Ford Road NW heard several gunshots, and found a juvenile male with an apparent gunshot wound at the scene. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Investigators are looking for three suspects in connection with this case. A detailed description was not available.
Police say it's unknown at this time whether the shootings are connected.
A fourth shooting was reported in the 3900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. Police say the male victim was shot twice. He was transported to an area hospital.

During the early morning hours Thursday, one man was killed and three others were injured in a shooting in the area of the 100 block of Pierce Street NW. Around noon Thursday, a gunshot victim was dropped outside a fire station and a bullet hole-laden SUV was found.
