Students Let Back Into Two Montgomery County High Schools After Bomb Threats

Two Montgomery County high schools were briefly evacuated due to bomb threats Tuesday morning. The students have been let back into their schools.

Someone called in the threats to 911 around 9:30 a.m. against Northwood High School in Silver Spring and Northwest High School in Germantown.

Due to the rainy weather, students were taken to nearby locations rather than waiting outside.

Students at Northwest back in their school around 11:10 a.m., said Montgomery County Public Schools. Students at Northwood were cleared to re-enter their school shortly before 11:30 a.m.
