Two separate incidents from over night Friday left two people dead and three others in critical condition.
Shortly before 1:30am D.C. police were called to the 600 block of 46th Pl. SE for a report of a shooting. They arrived to find an adult male that had been killed from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Thirty minutes later, police then responded to a single car accident near the 1100 block of Mississippi Avenue SE. Police say the vehicle had four people in it at the time of the crash.
One person died, and the remaining three were sent to the hospital in critical condition. Police do not have an update on their condition at this time.
