A 17-year-old boy has been charged with shooting a teenage girl at the entrance to the Anacostia Metro station, Metro Transit police said Wednesday.
The boy has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
The girl was shot in the leg Sunday by "an unknown male" at the entrance to the station from the bus area, a Metro spokesperson said.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
