Tax Day Deals and Freebies

What to Know

  • April 18 is the deadline for filing income tax returns

Monday is the deadline for filing income tax returns, and while the task can seem daunting, there are some rewards waiting for you once you finish.

The most practical of all tax season freebies is the IRS' Free File program, which allows those who have an adjusted gross income of $62,000 or less to file for free through the agency's website.

When you're done filing your taxes, check out these deals and freebies:

Boston Market: Once you've worked up an appetite, you can grab a half-chicken dinner with two sides, cornbread, a regular fountain drink and a cookie for $10.40.

Bob Evans: The restaurant chain is giving a 30 percent discount off all dine-in and carry out meals. Be sure to show the coupon on your phone to snag this deal.

Bruegger's Bagels: Big Bagel Bundles are just $10.40 -- a $3.50 "deduction."
