Student Arrested in Double-Stabbing at Md. College

A 19-year-old student has been arrested in the stabbing of two other young women at a western Maryland college.

Maryland State police say Shamaine Moore of Baltimore stabbed two fellow students after they got into an argument in the cafeteria at Garrett College in McHenry on Thursday evening.

Twenty-year-old Daniqua Harrington of Washington, D.C. is being treated at a hospital. Eighteen-year-old Chandel Alexander of Baltimore was treated and released.

Troopers arrested Moore without incident at an on-campus dorm soon after the stabbing. She's facing charges of attempted second-degree murder, assault and reckless endangerment. No attorney was listed for her in online court records.
