Metro is closer to selecting a new leader.
Sources tell News4 transportation reporter Adam Tuss and reporter Mark Segraves there are five finalists for the general manager position.
Tuss said one of them is said to have an airline background, while the others have management experience.
The Metro Board will interview the finalists next week and hopes to narrow down the list to two.
Metro has been criticized for taking months to find a new permanent leader.
Former General Manager Richard Sarles resigned from the agency last January.
