Remembering Metro's deadliest crash, 15 years later

Saturday, June 22, marks 15 years since the deadliest crash in Metro’s history. A Red Line train traveling 45 mph slammed into the back of a stopped train on the same track near the Takoma station. It was at the height of rush hour, and the trains were filled. Nine people died — including the operator of the striking train. Dozens were hurt. News4 Transportation Reporter Adam Tuss looks at the Metro that was and the Metro that exists today in this NBC Washington Rewind.
