I'm not sure if you've heard, but the Redskins -- or Washington's local football team, if you prefer -- open training camp Thursday. The first day begins with a walkthrough at 10 a.m. followed by practice at 3:20 p.m.

Fans in Richmond were allowed in at 9 a.m. this morning, but some zealous fans -- okay, really overzealous fans -- lined up much, much earlier. Like at 1:30 in the morning.
The first fan in line was grandmother Diane Portee, who slept for only two hours to arrive at the training facility at such an ungodly hour.
