Prosecutor Says Va. May Need Guilty But Mentally Ill Statute After Officer Shooter Released

A man who shot an Alexandria police officer in the head will soon be moving out of a mental health facility and into his own apartment. Northern Virginia Bureau Chief Julie Carey reports the case is prompting some to call for a change in Virginia’s laws.
