Friend Antonio Dillard said Caballero was incredibly thoughtful.

“She was always kind,” he said. “She was always helping somebody in some type of way. She would always take that extra step just to actually, you know, make sure somebody is OK or make sure they feel in a better place.”

Her family said that’s why she was stopped on that highway.
