A man was arrested Saturday in the death of a woman at a home in Loudoun County, the sheriff’s office said.
Round Hill resident Stone L. Colburn, 23, is charged with second degree murder and unlawfully stabbing, cutting, wounding in the commission of felony.
Deputies responded to a home in the 17800 block of Stoneleigh Drive in the Stoneleigh neighborhood around 10 a.m. for a reported stabbing, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said.
A woman “probably [in her] early 20s,” according to Undersheriff Mark Poland, was found dead in the home. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin, the sheriff’s office said.

Colburn was detained by deputies arriving on the scene. He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond, authorities said.
“The incident was isolated to the home and there was no threat to the community,” the sheriff’s office said.
More details about the killing were not provided.
