Riders on Metro's Orange Line encountered some delays Wednesday morning after a cracked rail was found outside the Dunn Loring-Merrifield station.
Trains began single-tracking between West Falls Church and Vienna just after 8 a.m. Wednesday, and continued until about 9:30 a.m.
It's not clear whether Wednesday's cold weather caused the cracked rail.
