One person died and three others are in serious condition following a crash in Upper Marlboro, Md. News4’s Jackie Bensen reports.
One person died and at least three others were injured Monday in a crash on Brown Station Road near Ritchie Marlboro Road in Upper Marlboro, Md.
According to Prince George's County police, a Hyundai1 was traveling southbound on the rural stretch after 7 p.m. Monday when the driver lost control, crossed into the northbound lanes and struck a northbound car.
Alex Cole, a 17-year-old passenger in the southbound car died. His twin brother, Aaron, was driving and is in critical condition. Both graduated from Wise High School in the spring. A man in his early 20s and a 17-year-old Wise senior also were in the southbound car.
The woman driving northbound suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Speed appears to be a factor in the crash, police said.
Grief counselors were available at Wise Tuesday.
