One man was killed and another injured after a shooting in northwest Washington, D.C., early Sunday morning.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department said Darryn Conte, of Waldorf, Maryland, was shot and killed in the 400 block of Butternut Street, Northwest shortly before 2 a.m.
Police also found another man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, but his condition is not known.
Detectives said they are treating the investigation as a homicide.
