Officer Fires Gun in Old Town Alexandria Amid Assault

A police officer fired her weapon in Old Town Alexandria early Wednesday after a man hit her in the head with a hard object. News4’s Erika Gonzalez reports from the scene. “If she wanted to shoot him, she would have shot him,” a witness said.
