Crews worked for more than two hours to contain a fire at a Northeast Washington trash disposal company.
Firefighters responded just after 3 p.m. to the 1800 block of Lincoln Road NE. The building suffered severe damage, and part of it collapsed as a result of the fire.
One firefighter sustained minor injuries.
