Shooting in Northeast D.C.

No arrests made

A man is in the hospital after being shot along the 1400 block of Rhode Island Avenue in northeast D.C.

The shooting happened around 10 p.m. near a Rite Aid store. Police said the victim was shot in the leg. He was taken to the hospital.

The gunman hid his face behind a surgical mask, the Associated Press reported.

His name and condition are not being released at this time. So far, no arrests have been made.
