The Strathmore Theater was host to "Video Games Live", a mash-up of video game music played by classical musicians.
The National Philarmonic Orchestra joined forces with the University of Maryland's Gamer Symphony Orchestra to perform the songs.
The two groups played songs from classic games like Super Mario Brothers, Sonic, Donkey Kong and Halo.
Tommy Tallarico, the co-creator of the concert, says this is a perfect way to reel in kids who normally wouldn't listen to classical music.
