A mother is in custody Tuesday after she was suspected of abducting her two young daughters from Frederick County, Maryland.
Caisha Renee Luna-Sanchez is believed to have illegally taken her 3-year-old and 5-year-old daughters out of state from Brunswick, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office said.
"The girls have been safely found and the mother is in custody. Thanks to all those who helped us with this case, including those agencies in West Virginia," Public Information Officer Todd Wivell said.
It was not immediately known how and where the girls were found.
