Montgomery County set to promote first Black fire chief

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich nominated Charles Bailey to be the fire department’s first Black chief. Bailey told News4’s Aimee Cho one of his first priorities would be providing more support for families after traumatic events like fires or medical emergencies, and he hopes to educate people about fire prevention and CPR.
