Montgomery County School Bus Crashes Onto Lawn

A school bus driver lost control and drove onto a front lawn Tuesday afternoon in Montgomery County, Maryland.

The Montgomery County Public Schools driver, who was not transporting children at the time of the incident, ended up on a front lawn at Connecticut Avenue and Randolph Road in Wheaton, Maryland, about 3:45 p.m, a fire department representative said.

The driver received non-life-threatening injuries and was evaluated by an EMS crew.

Information on the cause of the crash wasn't immediately available.

Randolph Road was closed during the investigation.
