Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is counting on the LGBT community to help boost tourism to the Commonwealth.
He announced the formation of a task force to focus on showcasing Virginia as an LGBT-friendly destination.
It's a chance to build on the progress the state has made this year with legalizing same-sex marriage, McAuliffe said.
Tourism is a $21.5 billion industry in Virginia.
