Shopping for clothes this week in Maryland will be a little cheaper.
The state’s tax holiday begins Sunday and covers any clothing and footwear for $100 or less. Accessory items are not included.
The tax-free week ends on August 16.
Shoppers don't have to be Maryland residents to take advantage of the savings. Unlike the tax-free holiday in Virginia school supplies will not be tax exempt.
The Comptroller of Maryland’s website has details about what you can and cannot buy tax-free.
